Hi, I’m Roman :)

After 18 years in IT and today's system, my own body and health issues forced me to stop. I realized that if you don't design your own day, someone else will do it for you. And if I wanted to be healthy, free, and creative, I had to take full responsibility for my life.

For years, I spent time testing the world, life, and myself. After turning 30, I realized I wanted to give something back to the world. Or maybe just keep asking further questions, and connect with people who feel the same way.

So I founded the Curiosity Institute. It’s a living laboratory - and it will evolve and change over time, just like every single one of us.

Why this Substack?

This publication is my personal logbook. It’s a space where I share honest thoughts about:

  • Conscious self-discovery – asking questions that actually matter

  • Digital hygiene & physical health – surviving hours behind screens without losing your humanity

  • Sovereignty & freedom & creativity– building a life on your own terms

My philosophy and my rules

  • PLAY: Do everything with joy, fully aware of the moment. Learn. Dive into life’s lessons with curiosity, and giggle at mistakes with a heart full of questions.

  • CREATE: Create yourself and the world around you. Start shaping it. Know yourself – act in accordance with your own values and beliefs, not someone else’s algorithms.

  • LOVE: Love yourself, people, nature, the Universe, and love your fate (Amor Fati). Make your life an authentic love story. And hug!

Oh and…

I create slowly, in silence, and by my own rules.
Good things take time to mature.

If you are tired of the constant rush and want to return to yourself, welcome. Take what serves you, leave what doesn't, and let's play, create, and love life on our own terms.

Thank you and welcome!
